Dear Omochi,

We are an event management company based in Dubai and are interested introducing the Sumo Wrestling culture of Japan for the Shopping Festival here in Jan 2006.

Please advise if you would be interested in coming to Dubai and your charges. We will be taking care of your flights, boarding and lodging in Dubai and are looking at a 3 day program. Following is the performance that we are looking at.

ドバイで開かれる日本の相撲文化を紹介するイベントへのご招待メールです。飛行機代とか、ドバイでの滞在費とか持ってくれるみたいです。これって、マジですかねぇ？

んで、プログラム案見ると、初っ切り・相撲甚句・髪結い・土俵入り…が並んでいます。なので、相撲協会と直接交渉しないと実現できないような内容なわけで、私のところにメール送ってきても無意味なんですけどねぇ。
最初は、アマチュアの相撲大会でもやるのかと思っちゃいました。それにしたって、もう何年も相撲とってないから、私のところに送ってきたって、やっぱり無意味なのでした。
